For some reason, I get only HOT or normal blowing air on my temp gauge for cabin air adjustment dial.

The engine thermostat is working, because I'm getting hot blowing air, but when I try to turn it down, there does not seem to be a mix of cold and hot, so it's just one extreme or the other.

Is there a fix I'm missing somewhere?

Sounds like the temp control blend door
    actuator isn't working properly.

    Anyone else have an opinion?

This happened to me recently in my 08 xlt. Replaced my blend door and it took care of it. Only a 25$ part from the dealer
