So it was time to fix the rust on the fenders. So we cut them out and had them really matched up ready to be welded in. Well the guy didnt do tacks here then other side tack and so on like the guys on muscle car do, an well it warped, I think it's bad, it goes I and looks like a pole hit it. It is really low in spots. Everyone thinks it looks good except me, I've had complements and so on. All I can think it, they don't know because they jut walked by an didnt look at it.
Is there anything I can do? I have bondo and glazing putting to make it look decent. Only 1 fender was done because we had time. The guy said we could do the other rust spots Friday but I don't know if I could trust him even though he agreed he should've done it the muscle car way. He knows what he did and I think he could correct it or I could wait and have my uncle who has done a lot of body work. He says he can try and fix this now. The worst I think is I have to cut out and re do it again.
What should I do and what could be any advice on how to fix it?
