I see b&m 2 in 1 kits-rv and heavy duty/ street and strip kits and ATP FK 6 and FK 8 for shift kits.

What are the good bad and uglies of these shift kits and what I should get.

Harder and tighter shifts, if you get a mild shift kit it'll actually increase the life of your tranny

I can tell you that rebuilding a E4OD requires several special tools to do it right... And is not cheap to rebuild either

Right, I've heard stories. I'm not looking forward to it. My uncle rebuilt a e4od in a van about 2 months ago that didnt have reverse, 1,3. My grandpa was a mechanic for shnucks, lambert airport and some in the army. He rebuilt his first car when he was 15. He knows his stuff. I'm lucky I have people around me to learn from.

They didn't put an aode in the trucks.. What does your gear panel in your cluster say?

    PRN(D)D1
    Or
    PRN(D)21

Plus aint your truck 4wd? If so it is 100% E4od if it has overdrive.
