I got a 2010 f150 platinum. I tried to do led bulbs in the tailights housings and used resistors. When I installed the resistors the tailights would not turn on woth the headlights (night driving) I swapped back to halogen bulbs and now the problem persists. They will 9nly turn on with brakes turn signals or briefly when I use my remote to unlock the vehicle. Does anyone know what my problem maybe I am thinking about reconnecting my battery to see if that will reset it.

Problem isn't in the wiring if they will come on with
remote to lock unlock doors but not with
    headlight switch.
Check the fuse panel for a blown fuse on the
    parking light circuit.
Test the parking light wire at the headlight switch.

x2 on the fuse. I had the same thing happen with the Jeep. Installed LED bulbs, running lights worked, test brakes, bulbs didn't work. Blew the fuse.

There should be a diagram in your manual. It's not super detailed, but it will let you know what the fuses are for.
