Bam! Also, gold oil filler cap.

Found out something interesting too. Bike actually had -1/+3 gearing. I was told it was +2 in the rear so I ordered a 47t sprocket. Old one turned out to be a 48t. Original owner must have thought stock was 46t instead of the 45t that it really was.

On the bright side, this should help with mpgs a bit. I was only getting about 28, if I was nice to it. Guess the -1/+3 explains that a bit.

wow! that sprocket matches the color almost exactly!

    bike looks great!!

that gearing must make it easy to pop some wheelies!

Thanks dude! I was both surprised and happy it matches as well as it does.

Surprisingly, that bike doesn't like to pop wheelies though. Not like a CBR does, at least. As I'm sure you know, the CBR will do first gear power wheelies all day, no problem. I've done one by complete accident just by trying to accelerate too fast. It's got a more powerful bottom/mid range than an R6.

The R6, on the other hand...the motor is low and forward, and all the power is above 10k rpms. It won't power the front up as readily. The only way I've found it will do a power wheelie is to shift my weight back on the seat, and make sure I'm in the power band before grabbing a handful. Then it will pop up QUICK. The gearing definitely makes the bike quick though, overall acceleration is brutal compared to my buddy's CBR.

I know it will clutch itself up no problem, but I didn't put enough miles on before winter hit to feel comfortable trying it.

I need something to save on gas going back and forth to school so a bike would be perfect but the drivers around here kind of scare me. Haha.
