Soo i have a Dual somethin or other HU right now. And now, when it gets hot out, the dam faceplate on it quits moving. So i cant see the screen or nothing aslong as it's being like this. Aside from that, it works great imo.

I'm looking for suggestions on a new HU now, preferably one that doesnt have a motorized/mechanical face on it. Doesnt need to be anything extreme, just will get the job done, and support a amp/subs in the near future.

Tons of them out there and the sky is the limit on what you can spend on them. I just put a new Alpine unit with bluetooth in mine last week.

The Dual was in the truck when i was given it. But aside from that, my limit would probably be around $500 at the most. Little bit more if absolutely needed. Usually rock an iPod too instead of everything else. I've read cutting is required to fit some/most Double Dins in too. But i can have the radio installed by a shop in town if needed.

There's plenty of quality head units out there for under $200 that are more then capable. I prefer Pioneer although I currently have a Sony X-Plod.

:hmm: is a nice one Vano.

I had looked at Pioneers before, but i keep lookin at the double dins, and with all the driving i dont do; Would be a little more then i need. I just threw the $500 out there, as its my limit as of now. No need to use it all.

I'll go lookin around tonight and post some of what i find
