no the tires sensors are always active, they just go into sleep mode after not moving for like 1 min or somthing like that so it will not reset the sensors them selves

you have to follow the reset procedures above in order to do it no battery disconnecting will fix it they have there own internal batteries and just put out a constant radio signal

That's awesome guys. Very good information.

I got my truck to go into leran mode, with the PSI warning signal flashing. I put a small tool magnet (someting in the tool box) on the valve stem, but I did not get the single horn sound at all. I'm still looking for the proper donut magnet here at NAPA autoparts. Is there any other way to tell if the sensors are actually installed, short of beaking the bead to look in there? With the truck going to learn mode, is it detecting the sensors installed in the rims?

The spare tire is installed under the truck, and I have not had it off the truck yet.

IF none of this works, is there a fuse for the tire pressure sensor I can pull to get rid of the warning light, instead of spending tons of money just to have this system working if I don't actually have the sensors installed in the rims?

im sayin the spare tire might be low on air and they sometimes have a sensor as well so i would check its psi aswell,

on another note the tire pressure sensors do run out of battery and do have to be replaced. this could also be a reason for the the light to be triggered any other questions just let me know

when its in learn mode it is waiting for u to trigger the sensor in the order it tells u to so it recognizes they are there other wise it has no reference point at that moment

I think you should pull a Sl33per and trade it for a 1982 Huffy BMX bike with a cracked plastic "mag".
