torsion how to ?

    Hi well I'm new to da while 4x4 scene used to sport trucks so I've been readin somethings about cranking da torsion bars to be able to fit a Lil bigger tire can anyone explain to me how dis us done I have a 01 f150 supercrew 4x4

    crawl under your truck under the driver door and right on the inside of the framerail there's going to be a crossmember with 2 bars running from your A arms. these are the torsion bars. there's keys in the crossmember with a bolt going into them straight up. tighten them both an equal amount of turns and it'll turn your A arms downward and lifting your frontend.

    its not hard. takes probably 20 minutes. just make sure you jack up the frontend to relieve the pressure on the bolts beforehand. and get an alignment when youre done
