I have a tentative plan, since the 2nd kid is due in aug my wife has decided she doesn't want to work for the first couple of years, which I'm more than fine with. But that's going to tighten the wallet up a bit. We have enough savings to get us through 5 or 6 years but with my pay we should break even, so we have plenty of savings to fall back on, but not much room for extras.

My truck is starting to have some serious turbo surge, so it looks like the responsible decision is to sell my wheeler and upgrade my turbo and injectors. If my tranny gets rebuilt and upgraded Incan run a gtp38r and some 160cc single shots no problem and not have any 'major' issues in the future.

I don't want to sell it, but this baby wasn't suppose to happen for another year to year and a half, my swimmers are too good ha ha. So it looks like if I keep it I'm not going to have the dough or time to work on it, but I can have a fun dd everyday if i sell it ha ha.

    What do y'all think?

And do any of you have any leads on some decent used turbos? jake That's directed to you ha ha. Or any suggestions on who I should get injectors from? Or any other options on injectors?

    Thanks guys!

I've talked to a couple diesel performance guys I'm acquainted with and they recommended a 38r and the 160cc single shots. From what I read the gtp is a good drop in up to 500hp I think and the 160cc are a perfect match. I have. Bit more reading to do ha ha. I think I'm leaning towards selling it.

I think I just got caught up in getting a project after my mom passed, it worked well as a distraction and served it purpose, but reality is setting in. If it weren't for baby number 2 I'd keep it and rock it, but I think it's for the best. My diesel will have to be my toy, maybe ill pick up a sport trac or a driveable rig later on to save the mileage on my big expensive truck ha ha.

Everyone recommends the garret Turbo upgrade but I've found most injectors are created equal price and quality

Yeah? About 1200 for the set of 8, 1200 for the gtp38r. 2400 plus install. I can probably swing that with the sale of the Mazda.
