Youre talking out the newest generation right? Cause they're the only truck on the market running coil springs on all 4 corners
My brothers the first to admit my dads 11 Ram rides a whole lot nicer then his 11 FX4

I don't care how much better they ride than a Ford or a Chevy/GMC, the interior of a Dodge feels cheap. I don't care what trim line we're talking about either, they all look and feel cheaply built imo. I'm sure they're decent trucks. I've just never cared for their styling personally. Again, that's just my opinion. I'm aware there's people that adore their looks, to each their own. I feel like the price compared to Ford and GM is what helps Dodge along when it comes to non brand loyal buyers. Back to the interiors, Ford isn't the best at their truck interiors either in my opinion. As bad as it pains me to say it, Chevrolet/GMC are still at the top of the big three when it comes to interiors and ride for that matter. That said, if I were in the market for a new truck, I'd have to stick with Ford. That goes for a heavy duty truck as well. Cummins are great, but unfortunately they're bolted to Dodges...

No hard feelings. To each their own and best of luck either way, JWal! :peace:

It's still in par wih the Silverado/Sierra
If you need 3,300 lbs of payload, you need a 3/4 IMO

Check this out. Max payload of only 1700lbs... Payload being all extra weight including fuel, passengers, tools, etc. Better not have that extra cheeseburger :jester: Ram Trucks - Towing Capacity Chart

Max is actually 1920 lbs when properly equipped.

I'm pretty well versed in Rams.
I'm not arguing that the payload is low but it's a conservative number because of the coils and certainly a sacrifice for comfort. It's also within 200 lbs of the Silverado/sierras max payload.
Plus it's only $80 to add air bags to them because of the coil springs.

I like my 2800 payload that's now 3700 because of my 100 dollar aal. So shut up. Ford's rule and Dodge's drool.
