I actually used some thick stuff, it was the first one I ever made so its a little rough...I should have used thinner tube, and smaller diameter. tips: lets see, so you have a design picked out, I wanted one that protected my fog lights, protected my bumper (and keep my stock metal bumper), light tabs and hoop. I bought a bunch of tube from my local steel store, took a bunch of measurements and double checked everything, so it looks decent. I built it in a weekend....when I do my next one Ill use a tube bender, thinner tube probably 1.75" DOM for the strength. Thats what I would recomend...
