so far i noticed the steering smoother over bumps, like i said before in a few days i should know if it really makes a diff. wonder if the bracket position makes a difference. i never got a hang of that game.

alright guys, im starting on my rewiring project. heres what i got done tonight, its not much but i only spent like 30 minutes.

i took wills idea and decided to mount it on the plastic at the top of the firewall.

took the plastic panel off and drilled 4 holes into it and bolted it in place.

here it is mounted and the panel put back in. i think its going to look good.

the relays will be wired the fuse block with 20amp fuses each. (my lights pull around 15 amps a set with 85 watt bulbs.) the relays will more than likely be moved over next to the panel to cut down on wire length. they will also be wire loomed so all you see is black, it should have a nice clean look. my power wire to the fuse block is 10AWG. should cover up to 55amps. (2 sets of lights with 15 amps each plus my step bar lights. 85x4=340/12v=28amps total for my driving lights plus about 2.5amps for my running board lights. 30.5 amps total if my math is right)

alright guys my rewiring of all my aux circuits is pretty much finished.

    Heres the finished product.

heres a picture from farther back.

heres one of the side that everything used to be on and it looked like ****
    [IMG]

so all i have running back to the other side of the engine is the 10AWG wire for the fuse block and i have a 14AWG wire running through the passenger side door to the battery for my other fuse block inside the cab that is supplying power to my switches and my amp.

    so it went from this

    to this

update on the steering stabilizer. i friggin love it! wheel stays straight over bumps and steering is much smoother. i think it was a good investment.

for sure dude! ive gotta tighten some stuff up still under the hood and install one more harness that isnt being used at the moment. i would like it to be hooked up and ready to be used though when the time comes.

thanks for the mount idea by the way man.
