    2002 4.6 215k miles. No cel or stored codes. New fuel pump, plugs, boots, springs, injectors, battery and fuel filter. Also cleaned IAC, PCV and TB.

    When trying to start the truck, it will just turn over about 10 seconds before firing up. This only happens when the truck has sat about 2 days. Once I crank it up, it will not do this until it sits a couple days. No smoke or funny noises. I'm completely stumped as to what it might be. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!

    links fail.

    Laurens truck does that too.except its everytime you start it cold. I need to take it to the shop cuz im stumped.

    Im stumped as to what it could be. I have this posted on other fourms and no one can give me an answer either.

    Try a different IAC from another "no problems" 4.6 ??

    wonder if your losing compression and just takes a second for the spark to catch

    I been wondering if it was a compression issue myself.

    It might be considering you and did are both over 200k. Worth checking out

    My only thing about it being low compression is it doesn't smoke. When it does this, the exhaust smells like raw gas.
