    I like the mirrors you and I have, exbanger, than these. I've driven a couple of trucks with them and hated them, you can't see anything and they are ugly.

    to each his own. I prefer the function over form, and I really don't like how the driver's mirror is mounted, its hard to see out of, at least for me. Thats why they had different types though.


    back to the original subject, yes those tow mirrors on the supercrew are very ugly

    I'm gonna have to agree with west on the tow mirrors. I just don't see the point, but to each their own. I guess me wanting the SS sport mirrors for my truck could seem as equally pointless.

    ^^^Yeah, I'm not fond of them tiny mirrors. Almost purchased a '96 F150 Eddie Bauer 5.0L 4x4 a while back that had those mirrors. IMHO, they just don't look right.

    As for tow mirrors, on the 04-11 F150s, I do like the OEM tow mirrors Ford has available, but I also like the basic mirror on the F150. Well, except for the newer mirrors (think 09-11 models) that have the reflector on the back side of the basic mirror. I'd install the tow mirrors on my F150, if they weren't so darn expensive, and if I towed a ton. But don't want to spend that type of $ on mirrors, and don't do enough towing to really need them.
