Could be a heater core, could be a clogged a/c drain tube, could be a leaking windshield.

The 2 leaking cores that I have had, I could smell the antifreeze. I put fixing one of those off until it popped at the drive thru window of a McDonald's one night. Filled the whole cab with nasty antifreeze steam and scared the crap out of the girl at the window. :jester:

that was my next guess. believe it or not it could be coming from the third brake light alos. i have read this can channel water all the way to the passenger floor board.

If it doesn't smell like antifreeze, then it must be an a/c condensation drain clogged or a seal leaking rainwater into the interior.

A lady came back to the car electronics install in 2002 complaining the new Sony head unit we installed had quit working. I pulled the radio from the dash and water started pouring out of it. Seems she had bought a wrecked 2002 Ranger that had the windshield replaced and the seal was leaking water into the dash.

Been there on the third brake light seal leaking also.
