Just got an invite to site by ak_cowboy from over at F150forum.com. I had been going there for quite a while, but i really got tired of the direction that the place was going. Everything had to be sugar-coated in order to be said and there were fewer and fewer ACTUAL technical questions being answered. Kind of been on a hiatus from them since they started going south. Anyway... I own a black 1998 F150 Flareside 4x4, 4.6. It was supposed to take my little car off the roads for the winter, but i ended up liking the truck so much that i sold off the car to start making the truck into something i was proud of. Current project is a light bar that i found on craigslist for 50 bucks. Needed some pretty serious work, but i've managed to get it straightened out, stripped down, and i'm building the second prime up now after the initial sanding. Gloss black and installed as soon as JCWhitney sends me the herculiner i'll be putting in the bed. KC Apollo 5" round driving lamps forward and KC Apollo 5" round floods rear. Looking to pick up 3-5 more inches for it in the relatively near future. Here she is as of now.
Welcome Flare! I just got here myself so good to see some familiar faces from around the way. And the truck is looking SWEET! You know I gotta hold it down for the black rides.
Will look sweeter soon, bro. Working on that light bar. Just waiting for some things to come in from the shop so i can finish it up. Now i wish i had taken progress pics... I just didnt expect to be back on the site heh.
