Got a buddy who just put a set of these in 35's on his F-250. They look much better on yours than a truck that big. Good luck with them
Did no one see a previous post of mine about them on a previous thread? My Buddy runs them. Here is what i have seen. Sand, like the OP said, awesome. Mud/deep watery mud,not so good.He got stuck twice to where i had to pull him out West traction,OK. Snow/slushy conditions, can confirm like the OP said.Horrible. Oh and the red lettering does rub off.Buddy has had his 5 months.Starting to fade already. I'm really lucky with the tires that i get to see and perform with. The ppl i go mudding with always keep growing and different trucks comes different tires and how they perform in different conditions. Some of the best tires i have seen for wet,dry and muddy conditions are home made self cut tires. Some of these tires i have seen are simple cut,but yet outperform stock tire tread that allot of us buy.
I didn't see it. In fact I just searched and didn't find it. Not sure how long ago it was, but I have only been on the forum for 2 weeks. Disappointing to hear the lettering wears off easy, but oh well I suppose. Glad to hear they do great in sand, though I am imagining it must have been dry sand. I did get the truck out on the beach today, but since it snowed an inch last night and then rained all day, the sand was very wet and goopy, not to mention the snow on top. The tires dug some trenches and the tread filled right up with that wet sand-crap, and I came very close to getting stuck. I'll make it out there again if it ever stops raining or snowing or whatever it's doing, and see how it goes. I seem to have lost 2mpg as well. Not surprising as the tire is a bit taller and a lot wider than what was on the truck. $4.29/gal though, and I do a lot of driving. Ouch. Estimate around 40 miles less per tank.
Ya those tires will kick up the dry shiat and give you great traction. Also stellar dry road traction. But ya the those tires just dont self clean well at all.Tread is just to close together and once it gets packed with mud,wet sand, snow. It just cannot self clean fast enough to keep traction.
Finally got out on the beach while it was dry yesterday and as you said the tires did great. Good traction and float fairly well also. Awesome on gravel roads too.
