Straight pipes with cats and 3 1/2 to 4 inch tips sound fantastic on a 302. I like the sound of the Magnaflow on my truck but I was tired of extremely loud pipes like my last one had. It sounded like a funny car.

straights and glass packs sound good at idle, but once you hit 2000+ and they start to crack and pop, i cant stand them, just stupid loud you shoulda heard my buddy's cheby, 350 with mild cam, fresh rebuild and long tubes, it also has a bad 02 sensor, haha, so when he starts it, it chugs bad for about 5 secs, but during that time it sounds like a flocking race car, haha, now its got longtubes, no cats, dual 40s and turn downs right behind the cab, its super loud
