I use to drive a 2001 F250 4X4 with a 5.4 in it and we used that truck! I don't mean drove it around and occasionally threw a few hundred pounds in the back of it. I mean hauling COMPLETE pallets of concrete backer board, COMPLETE pallets of stone and tile. Full pallets of setting materials. We hauled tons of shat in that 2001 and that 5.4 had PLENTY of power to do the job! It does tend to get old hearing people bone on 5.4 SD's, they're more then capable of handling what the average truck owner can throw at em.
It's just sort of ridiculous to hear people carry on about the shat. 5.4's are already beastly motors, but when added to an SD they handle the business. I personally know this from experience. Are they as strong as a Powerstroke, No, but they aren't fuggin weak either! One more thing, I remember a few people bagging in Ricky's truck for being a 5.4 rather then a diesel. I don't care if it's a 5.4 or a diesel, it's still a bad ass truck. This does seem to be a case of...
sweeeeet! $10 says that if he gets it back today, we wont hear much from him til later this afternoon cuz he'll be out chirpin them tires all around town finally
