In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
First off, i think i said that you could use some thinner to get rid of the existing red paint like on the first page. this will maintain the "texture" from the factory.

I would go against using an adhesion promoter IF you are going to be using paint for plastics. That kind of paint has a promoter built in, hence allowing it to stick to slick surfaces such as plastics.

now make sure that after you get all the red off w/ thinner, that you wipe/wash the pieces down to be clean again, free of any chemicals. this will help reduce the areas that may want to peel on you again. Also, don't try to do this all in one spraying. at the very least, all the parts should take 3-4 coats, w/ the first 2 coats being VERY light dusting effect.

The first time I PTM them, I used rattle can. It's held up great. The reason it did was I put my pieces in a tub full of hot water. This got the mold release off the panels and helped the paint stick better. I also used adhesion promoter and preps all.

Thanks Van.Info is by far the best yet.I wont use any adhesion promoter, but i will use a can of that prep spray to clean it.Ya i was planning on doing 2 light coats just to have something on it.Then go from there.Whats a good thinner to use?Just dont want to have what happend to Darth when he used a thinner happen to me.
