Transfer case

I've been driving around for sometime now with an odd squeak, thought it was a U joint but the rear one was changed. Got my wheel chocks from ups a few days ago so i was able to jack my rear end up and upt the truck in neutral so i could spin the driveshaft. I found my squeak...thought maybe it was where the shaft goes into the transfer case so i shot some oil around it but didnt help. the sound seems like its coming from inside the transfer case. Any ideas what it could be?

guess i should start there....that should have obvious from the start lol

 

just checked. fluid level is dead nuts.

 

I really don't know unless u got a bearing goin bad or something. It's one of them things it would help to hear first hand. Maybe someone else has been there done that with the squeak

Yeah I was wondering same thing just assume it was full

 

Maybe dead empty
