I drive some what agressive, I cruze on the highway and running these 35's I am getting 15-16.5 depending on the trip. so I aint getting bad MPG, and I am installing the e-fans soon so that will help too. I am wanting to gain HP for when I punch it at any speed but will still not eat gas while cruzing.

yep, same thing. you just download the custom tunes with pegasus, Bill's program, and it replaces the canned tune that it is slotted for. i would stick with the canned tunes for now and see how they do for your truck and then decide if you really want custom tunes. the custom tunes will only give you maybe 3 hp more than the canned ones but have more of an impact on the shift points and throttle response. you can always doctor up any tune with the custom settings and make things better but it's all trial and error. like right now, i have my 87 custom perf set with standard shift points +1, downshifts +1, torque convertor lock/unlock +1 for every gear. the 4.6Ls, at least mine, likes to have higher rpms

again it depends on how you drive. remember that our trucks have adaptive learning and that every time we load a tune or disconnect our battery, the truck's pcm keeps making adjustments to work with our specific driving style. if you baby the truck, it will always seem sluggish on pick-up. if aggressive, it will learn that style and have better response and power but more than likely worse mileage than driving conservatively
