Hate tint laws...

Dunno....He just gave me a warning, and I quote "It's a fix-it ticket, but I am not going to write one because frankly I don't really care about dark windows, but you need to take it off."

Like I said, Hypocrites.

My windows are drawing a lot of attention right now, due to the pink hearts and writing all over them. I've drove past this cop many times before without being stopped, but that was without writing.

I think the cute girl next to me is what really got me out of the ticket. She offered to write on his windows too

I wouldn't pay that either, I just used the stuff from shucks. I prefer DIY, $20 or $150? Hmm...is that even a question?

I have been thinking about trying to fake my way through an eye exam to get a prescription for dark tint, but I'm not sure how difficult it would be.

 

i feel your pain man, we have the same law here in iowa

 

30 is legal for fronts here i wanna say you can have darker on the backs

 

35% is legal here , but everybody has 5%

70% ??? who would pay for that youd be better off leaving it clear

 

Here we can have anything on the the two back windows and back glass but the fronts have to be 32

 

Yeah, our back two and rear window can be whatever, but the fronts have to be pretty much clear

 

The law is supposed to be for their safety but i think its just a way to make money

 

yup same here and it is soooooooo stupid. makes no sense at all especially in farm country.

 

I hear it's so that if there is a car chase or if they need to ID a driver they want to be able to see the driver to ID if he's white, black, hispanic, or asian.

I don't know that's just what I heard. I think it's stupid, i want to tint my windows but my friend got his tinted a month ago and told me he payed $150 for somebody to do it for him... I don't need tint that bad..
