joh408's build thread

Decided to keep her so then the next thing to do was to start a build thread on here to show you guys what all I've done to my truck.
Started out as a clean 2003 Lariat F150 2wd Supercrew, white with tan accents:




First thing was to get a bit better sound in the truck:



Next step was vinyl on the rockers:


After that I painted the grill:


And blacked out the tails and 3rd brake light:


Next was the Fabtech 7.5" lift:
Before tires:

After tires:


After that got to painting the fenders:



Then came black heads and corners:


Freshened up the interior with a black dash:


Cleaned up diff cover with some paint:


Last mod was painting the step bars:


And here is how she sits today:




I just ordered some black vinyl for the rockers to change the color and depending on how much I have left, I will try to do the bumpers too.

Thanks guys. Trying to figure out what I should do next. I need something cheap because majority of my paychecks go to filling up, booze and hockey

I'm going to for summer soon but I need it when I go to school because I keep my hockey gear back there. Don't want to lose $2000 worth of gear haha

 

Haha it's a lot of fun but I guess I've been playing for awhile so its like muscle memory
