So Im thinking either the jba or the gibson headers. any better suggestions or are those good choices?

No idea but I'd love to know, I've heard more people buying Gibson though

i have JBA ceramic shorty headers and it certainly helped out in the torque column, but if youre gonna get any.....get full length. jba and gibson both make good stuff, so you wont go wrong with either. on the dyno i only got 5 hp but gained 12 lbs of torque (real power not estimated) had to do some exhaust work after, but i guess it was worth it haha

^x2 I was going to ask if you were planning on doing any other exhaust work. Shortys allow you to reuse the stock exhaust and give you some high rpm power. Long Tubes give you more torque and force you to upgrade :peace:

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
I went w/ Gibson High Flow Shortys for my 4.6. Already was SI/DO Super 44 FM exhaust, but after I installed the GHFS, i felt the low end torque immediately. was having troubles breakin my 35's lose, but now its never a problem.

I have some pacesetter shorties from summit and LOVE them. Cheap enough and they have some thick header flanges for no warping...

Thanks for the input guys! I already have a magnaflow muffler and no cat so headers and a new y pipe from spd performance are going to be the next exhaust upgrades

In my opinion, money wise these would be the best investment. :birgits_tiredcoffee
