Let me know tomorrow what comes of it brother! I can walk you through it if you need. I just realized that you don't have your 3"BL anymore so getting the valve cover off may be a pain in the ass. Tools for the valve cover removal... 8mm Deep socket 8mm shallow socket 1/4" drive ratchet 3" extension You will need something to compress the valve so you can remove the rocker. Then slide out the tappets. (they are the little nipple/bullet looking things opposite the valve) When you pull them out. Get some brake parts cleaner and spray them off and brush them real good. I would let them soak overnight if you can. then pull them out clean them up real good (you should be able to blow the insides clean with your mouth or a compressor if you have one.) Then let them soak in some NEW oil (I would also suggest changing the oil/filter as well when you do this) about an hour or so then slide them back in. The more oil you can have in there the easier it will be on them on startup. Reassemble and crank it back up with the valve cover off again and no fuel. Should build up the pressure in those tappets and the noise should be gone. If it works for a little while and acts up again, then let me know and I will send you a few over in a box from my stock pile. Hope this helps you out.
