Stock bumper guards(need pics/links)

OK so hope this comes out right.

I am looking for a link or some pics with our stock bumpers on with metal guards coming off of them.Hope that made sense.I guess i can also say it's bumper guard,but on our stock bumpers if that any more sense.

Trying to get an idea of some scrap metal i was allowed to take from work and what exactly i want to build with it.

what you thinking when you say metal guards? like a light bar brush bar thing or like a mud flap lol

 

are you talking about like the old smitty bars?

 

Ya like a light bar push bar.It comes right off the stock bumper.Have seen a few trucks with it,but never knew exactly what there called.I am looking to fab up my own with the metal i got.I got me some 6foot long solid steel 1/2'' pieces.Ya hope all that made sense also,lol

Ya nothing like that at all,lol.I will have to go over the next countie and get a pic of it.

 

so what are u thinking of doing? front or rear bumpers?

 

Ya dont know how to really explain it,lol.It will come off the bumper,but kinda like a push bar of some sorts.Put it this way.If i get hit head on they will hit that bar first before my bumper,lol.
