    well i got the swap done and all buttoned up and its still doin the same thing.....so.....the only other thing i can think of that would cuase this problem would be a computer..........what do you guys think?

    more than likely the computer if it's doing the exact same thing.

    what was your motor before swap and what is the one now? if they are not both 302 or 351's then you need a different computer. also the plug/distribution setup is different on both motors. trust me i know i have ran into this problem before.

    same distibutor and cap and position and same motors 302...still popping and cracking through intake and still missing,,,,,so thats the only thing i know thats left to change

    anyone know how to remove that bad boy...just got one ordered and its gonna take 2 days to get here....i have no idea how to remove a computer or even where the mounts are.,.i do know its on the driver side inner fendor well...where it plugs up...but i dont have a clue how to take it out

    check with a repair manual (online or go to a local parts store and thumb through if you dont own one) it may mention something about that
