Starter problems?

I think my starters going out but im not sure. it can't be the battery or alternator because i replaced both about a year ago. when i start the truck it takes a good 3 seconds of cranking before it starts, it sounds sluggish starting like it would if the battery were dying

 

Is it turning the engine over immediately? Then not firing?

 

My truck starts up like it has a misfire only on a cold start

 

it's turning over but it sounds like its struggling

 

its prolly that dent in your bed makin it weak

 

thats what i thought, not enough power circulating in the bed

 

it happens more than youd think

 

You can take it off and have it tested, they aren't too spendy if thats the problem.

 

Have the battery tested then too because even if you replaced it a year ago it can still be a defective battery

u can have the alt, battery and starter all tested without removing them. local parts store should be able to do it
