So my quarterly bonus from work came in this check, along with some holiday pay. So im lookin to do an exhaust on the rab finally. I've decided i want the Dynomax Bullets, gonna have it Y'd, and two of them after the Y (dont see a need for true duals at this time). I'm just debating on dumping, a side exit, or 45'd out the back. I was quoted $200 from the cats back, and $300 from the motor back if i provide everything except the pipe. Oh, and goin with 4" black powder coated tips too. Ideas and suggestions welcome/needed! That sounds like a good set up! I have my 45'd out the back and I like that style! Only thing is they get all dirty, but it still looks good!
Well to me, dumping it on a gasser just sounds terrible in the cab. And not amazing outside. I'd run it 45'd out the back with that nice 4" tip. May even look good putting it right in front the tire, instead of behind

The only reason i dont wanna exit infront of the rear wheel is bc of somethin i got instore for some steps. I did think about straight piping it like the Scab, which is exit before the rear tire. Here is before the tire and the drivers side will be tough cause of the gas tank and drive shaft but I'm sure the shop can do it. Dumped is for a clean look and I'm sure that's what you want. But 45 degree duals out the back with long chrome tips (idk if the long ones come black just paint the long chrome ones) and that will look sick on it. And btw the tip on my truck is a 4 inch.
IMO the best size tip for these trucks is 3 1/2 by 18. That is what was on my truck before I lowered it. It had a si/do flow 40 series with gutted cats.
i'm still hunting for tips, if i find a 3 1/2 inch one, i'll grab it. @Sleeper, ik how the tips look in the different positions just deciding on it is a pain
