yeah.. its totally a joke. his is in much better shape then mine.. HAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA sorry.. but i have to laugh at that one.... the 351W has more low end torque but the Cleveland is a much better car engine except when ya put the right cam in it then its actually a really good truck engine.. the 351W at its peak in a Lightning stock was pushing 240 HP.. the cleveland in a 2V low compression version was pushing if im not mistaken 250.. when you get up into the 4v High compression version, your talking 300+ hp..
But how thay done the hp estimates in the 70s verses now is different. 351c has a weight disadvantage also. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
not much different. they both measure at the crank, now the ratings back then were sometimes lower than reality for insurance and EPA reasons. and yeah the 351C may be 100 pounds heavier.. not much..
Yes and I totally agree stock for stock the cleve has a slight edge but a windsor has much parts available for cheap and can handle a lot Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
stock for stock Cleveland has an edge... the only real reason the windsor has very much if any edge in the aftermarket is the Clevelands were only produced for 4 years... vs. 351W's somewhere around 30 years.. and all this info is coming from me.. the guy who built the 351W in my Flareside for less than 2k that put down at the wheels 321hp and 394 tq.... i still think the Cleveland is the better engine..
