i need opinions guys. my rotors are ****! theyre starting to grind pretty good when stopping. the rears are the worse so im starting with them, but i need to replace all 4 eventually. along with rear pads. what do you guys think? whats the best brand/ kind? looking for a drilled and slotted rotor but dont know what kind to go with. thanks for the help guys
I just put EBC slotted, not drilled but dimpled with ebc greenstuff 7000 pads. SO far i am extremely happy with them. I only did the fronts, but when its time for rears im doing the same.
i was just looking at some ebc slotted and dimpled for the fronts. oreillys gave me a price of $280 minus my discount. what did you pay for yours?
cheaper than what i was told. i think the rotors were a 13" for the rear and 12" for the front. the fronts were cheaper by like $40
Yeah, I got a guy here we take all of our work stuff to. both of our trucks, and all 3 trailer, my moms van and my sisters exploder. He price matched it for me. He treats us really good. Anyone In the seattle area ( I Know theres only 2 present, could be lurkers) head to truck performance NW in Maple valley. His prices are a little high to have work done, but the customer service far out weighs the cost.

Parked! Shes down for the count. decided to take the tire off the passenger side rear and check the rotor out. looked like ****! i think my pads made the rotor even worse. one pad was completely gone...i couldnt beleive it. i thought maybe i could run up to oreillys and get the rotor turned and change the pads on both wheels until i could get some rotors.... but its too close the discard measurement, within .012". they couldnt turn it. Thought i would ask what rotors they had on hand, all they have is **** made in china and nothing slotted like im looking for. Wasnt about to buy some cheap crap lol. gave my mechanic a call, told me to call him in the morning and he could possibly have some nice rotors waiting for me there. Problem is i work from 8am until sometimes 10pm or later the whole week lol. so here she sits, in need of a set of rear rotors, pads and an oil change.
