Ok I get 9 mpg and I know I should get more. So what all can I do ( other than programmer) to get better mpg. I was thinking putting on a muffler. What muffler do u think is best for my 4.6 I want it loud and an aggressive tone I just have cats only. If I do a new exhaust I wanna dump it. I still have a glass pack sitting around somewhere. I was thinking long tube headers one day with no cats and a great muffler.

Bed cover doesnt make any difference. no tailgate would. Change your plugs, wires, fuel filter, and throw in some injector cleaner. seafoam directly to the vac lines will help. exhaust wont do anything on a gas motor. the edge evo on my 5.4 helped a lot. keep in mind youll only bump it to like 12 or 13. trucks arent hybrids.
tune it up, get a new air filter, keep your foot off the gas, and get a programmer will help tremendously. i get 15-18 with my truck, edge evo ftw!
programmer with a high octane tune, k&n intake, maf sencor, pullies, true duals, new plugs for sure, new fuel filter, change your oil dont run tractor oil in it, use mobile 1, royal purple, or penzoil platinum
