ok I know there are a lot of questions asked about this and I have looked at a couple of how-to's and my question is in a 97-03 f150 how long does the pipe need to be? I know it should be 3" wide but how long should it be? I'm about to go to homedepot and get everything I need

bout 4-5", I'm heading out to the garage to do the mod today actually.

people also say to get thin wall PVC because you don't gotta sand it down as much

I've read the black sewer pipe is good to use too, more flexible and you dont have to sand it down.

I used a flex intake duct from Vato Zone and a gutter reducer from Lowe's.

Took all of 5 minutes to do it.

Yeah I just finished. It's real simple the only hard part is grinding down the PVC to make it fit.. :suicide: but it's finally done and hopefully I'll see some improvement
