Where is the switch for the hood light

    Ok my hood light flashes on n off on bumpy roads so I wanna start by checking out the switch that turns it on. If anyone knows where it is let me know so I can check it out when I get the truck back. Pics if you can.

    There is no switch. the hood light is mercury filled so it works by the angle of the light.

    Dude, I'm curious as to how you would know it was flashing on and off with the hood closed??? :think:

    if you can tell that the light is turning on and off going down bumpy roads then 2 things, 1st slow down on them, and 2nd stop your hood from bouncing up and down and thatll stop it. comeon kid this should be a easy one.

    That's one of the things that's always had me scratching my head about the Ford and the 04-08's. They improved so much from the previous generation and then didn't take something as simple as a hood light over from the previous generations. Doesn't make any sense... :think:
