Yeah im pretty stoked right now because I think its the darker brown/tan color the the door is accented with which is somthing I mentioned wanting to do but probably not being able to match it.. But my fingers are about raw as hell now trying to rub this glue **** off..
yeah well right now this is my only problem.. It's a ***** to get off.. rubbing alcohol is no help at all.. Sent from my Inspire 4G using Tapatalk
Still disagree. Ford needs to stop that shat, it's okay when senior citizens want the wood paneling in their pickups, but it needs to go. Nothing wrong with Ford using a nice machined look or a carbon fiber to give it a modern look. The wood paneling screams 1975. Bats, ain't nothing classy about wood accents in a pickup truck built within the last 20 years. FREE BIRD!!!
This may sound stupid but WD-40 will take that adhesive off pretty good. Then take some degreaser to it to clean it up. Hopefully that will work for you. It's gunna look awesome when you get finished.
Damn I dont think I have any WD40 left.. I got some Breakfree CLP ill try that.. Well luckily unlike my steering wheel these peices are color molded.. So all I got to be careful for is scrathing them up..
Okay I wasn't sure if they were coated are molded. I messed up a stereo/AC surround stripping it a few years ago. Acetone will melt that shat with the quickness.
