Finally got it in!

So my dp tuner ending up being 3 days late, but I got it yesterday and plugged it in last night. It installs directly to the PCM unlike the canned tuners that plug in under the dash. It's shift on the fly so no turning the key on, turning it off and waiting. On the 120hp racing tune my truck takes off like a bat outa hell. I'm talking from 40 to 60 in the blink of an eye with a Nice respectable cloud of soot. In the 60 hp economy setting it keeps the acceleration nice and slow with smooth and steady shifts keeping the Rpms nice and low for good mileage. I haven't tested out my tow setting yet but that's 80hp with the shifting adjusted for a 9k to 13k pound load.

It also has stock mode, and no start, I set it to 0 position and unplug the switch and take it with me and the truck won't turn over, great security feature.

You can opt for a ton of different tunes like high idle for quick warm ups, valet settings that limit the speed to 35 mph, would be great for a teen driver ha ha. I plan to get more tunes in the future as I do more mods. My next plans are stage two injectors, and stage two cai (I have a modded cai). Later on I hope to beef up the turbo, oil pump and get the 6.0 trans cooler.

The savings in fuel will pay for it.

 

2 sets up front, 4 sets in rear. 3 of those 4 were on the lumber rack I took off. The wires arethere though, ready for my headache rack, and maybe bed lights.
