It's been jumped 3 times. The rattle at high rpms has been there since my dad owned it. I did nothing but normal driving with it for a month and this happens. Sent from my bad ass phone
Almost sounds like spark knock to me on the hard acceleration. Whistle sounds like a TB spacer almost... Check for a little leak in your intake tube...
It's a whine sound it's more like a booooooooop sound. Some times it does it when I idle into my driveway. Every says it sounds like a spark knock but it does it some times and sometimes it doesn't. And in the vid where I stop on the dirt road and accelerate there is a little squeak noise that just started. I'm driving the chebby from hell till I get it fixed. It's enough to make a man cry when he can't drive is good ole ford. But the chebby saves me gas money cause I ain't gotta pay for gas. I can't stand having my truck not running right I may just sell my wii to fix it. Sent from my bad ass phone
Well I didn't get the wires cause I didn't have the money so I got one coil and that didnt fix it. I forgot the wires at home. So I get paid Saturday so I'm gonna get 8 plugs, set of wires, and another coil. The coil was $50 so that plus $24 for plugs is all I gotta pay. If that don't fix it idk what will. I hate the straight up plugs I will be doing the 2 back ones first to get them out the way. Sent from my bad ass phone
If you are buying coils I hope you are getting Orielly's BWD's. Only LIFETIME WARRANTY coils I have found. You would be WAY money ahead to replace with lifetimes. Oh and they are only $48.
The duralast have 2 yr warranty and are $50 with tax. I'll go to o o o oriellys and get one and next pay check I'll grab another and take the duralast one in for warranty and get a new one and sell it on cl for $40. Sent from my bad ass phone
It seemed like the minute I replace one coil I had to replace all of them within the month. Now all of mine are Lifetime's and I have had so many go out that I actually bought a spare and carry it in the truck along with the 8mm tool to swap it. I can pull codes with my tuner, so I just plug her in, read the code, and pop the new coil on. My coils always seem to break right at the weak point where the plug and pack meet. Just nice to carry a spare in the truck.
Ok I got new wires n coils n it misfires like hell. So I'm doing the plugs tomorrow. I got a video of it driving in gonna upload it. Sent from my bad ass phone
