08+ tail gate on 02?

    do the newer 2008 and up tail gates fit 99 and ups?

    Damn i didnt even think about that!! i just want my tail gate to say super duty on the bottom. lol.

    Isn't that truck a 05+ since the tail lights are different than the 04 and belies or did they change the tail lights as well?

    thats a taillight change as well. the 08 superduty tailgates dont fit on the 04-08 150's. i should know. i have wanted a man step ever since putting my BL on.

    im pretty sure it works because i am almost certain that ive seen 08+ tailgates on older superduties

    so i can switch the tailgate and lights to the new model stlye and it will line up and look good??

    yup, i have seen this on the 99 even. its just like doing a front clip swap, except its the tailgate. the reason the 97-03 F150s can do it too is cuz its the same bed, just 5.5 instead of 6.75.

    My original answer was regarding F150 tailgate to F150 tailgate.

    This is an F150 area of the forum and not the 250/350 area. :jester:
