heres a couple pics of the truck the day it came home, 1996 XLT 4x4, hard tonneau, bed rug, trailer brake controller, nothing special next came a tune up, Taylor cables, and e3 diamond fire plugs, MSD cap and rotor added some mud flaps, started with trucker ladies, then went to diamond plate custom made some diamond plate door trim got the brushguard from a buddy for $100, also bought 31" cooper s/t's added a flowmaster super 44 si/do and had tailpipes bent to dump at 45's out both sides the hard cover was removed, tool box came first, then soft cover, and LED lights added a cb radio with dual whips, maglite mounts, kenwood head unit was transfered from my last vehicle 400 watt power inverter is hidden under the cup holder lots of other numerous maintenance/ repairs have been made, and i'm sure i'm missing some stuff too heres a few more shots my '96 and my dad's '99 XLT 2wd v6, its a nice truck but is his work truck, used not abused
thanks guys, its got its rough spots, has some small cancer spots on the rockers that need to be taken care of and i still have that damn leak in the cab, and i missed the most recent mod, k&n CAI
if i were to go with black wheels, i'd have to do a black and chrome wheel, theres way too much other chrome on the truck to go straight black
Id definitely consider lifting it if I were you. but still a nice truck. I love the older f150s. had a 94 4x4 myself. but mine was quite the rust bucket haha
trust me, i really want to lift it, but i'm finding it hard to drop $2000 on a lift, wheels and tires, plus when i do it i want to do a dana 44 sas, which gets me thinking i should just do a dana 60 swap, but thats even more $$ yet
