Rear window surround

    Does the grey surround outside of the rear window come off? I wanna paint it black

    Dude just mask it off. Apparently from what I've read it's ROYAL pain in the ass and you're most likely gonna end up with a leak and if you don't already have a rear window leak in a 10th gen F150, don't tempt things because you've been lucky.

    Ha I figured it would be a pain. But I figured I'd ask cuz it would be easier to paint if it popped off easily but sounds like it's not worth it

    Damn i was hoping it would come off easy.. I planned on painting mine eventually too..

    That's your safest bet dude. :waytogo:

    I use all my old Winston Cup Scenes. I kept tons of them for whatever reason, but they come in handy.

    i did this one the white truck. it took 45 minutes to tape everything off and it took all of 5 minutes to paint :jester:

    Haha yeah i guess ill tape it up when I do mine.. Anyone have a pic of how far that surrond sticks out?? I think mine sticks out to far but it doesnt leak so IDK..
