they like to mark it up because of the FX4 package. my truck was originally 18k and my dad talked them down to 15.4
The sales guy tried to tell me that about mine. He was like i drive an f150 too, a regular one not the FX2 and i paid more than what your asking. I told him that sounds like a personal problem but im not paying you 24k for that truck. He thought i was a damn fool.
A standard rule I have always used when shopping used vehicles from a dealer was to automatically offer them 20% off what they are asking. they will counter, you counter just to 15%. when they counter you again, hold out your hand to shake "thank you good day to you" and walk out... you'll get your second offer

I picked up my 05 FX4 with 54,000 mi for 17,000.. It was a private sale though. I think you will be able to get them down a bit aswell. As long as it's not a high end SVT Ford stealership..
