1) 2.5" pipe isn't loud enough. i have nice tone with my super 10 single in single out. but i want volume now. so i was thinking on going to 3.5" would that work? 2) my truck was level from day 2 that i had. then this summer i put an aal in so that raised my rear in 2"s so now its not leave.. any ways of bringing up the front end another 2''s without a big lift kit?
1. for more sound you need headers (long tubes are best) and resonators/high-flo cats, keep em duals, so dont put em into a Y-pipe, go with an X-pipe, then do some glasspacks, could be flows/magnaflows/borlas/ whatever you want and either dumped or tipped before the rear tires with 3.5-4in tips. all pipe should be 2.5. you could do long tubes to resonators/high-flo cats, to a Y-pipe, then do 3in pipe all the way back. 2.5in pipe-----more low end tq 3in pipe------more upper end tq. IMHO low end tq gets you off the line faster, so that would be best for a truck since we dont go fast like a sports car. theres not a HUGE difference but it all adds up in the end thats going to have the most volume. with cats you cant do ****. so suck it up and go all the way, and i tell ya, its worth it in the end. 2. are your bars cranked? thats all you can do with that AAL to bring it back to level. or go buy a small lift like a lil 4iner. other than that, no you cannot do anything else and dont buy aftermarket keys...theyre either the same thing or something that will but everything in a bind and give you bad ball-joint angles so you would have to replace those very often.
i don't want it super load and i hate glasspacks. and i still would like single out and i'm not dumping it. its going out behind the tire.
