Its only 3 inches vs a 6 inch lift with trac bars and steering stabilizers. A little more ground clearance and a little more suspension play. If you wheel like I did a 3 inch body with 35s would scrub too much. Only more ground clearance if you run 33s on the bl instead of 35s.

Nothin wrong with a bl for some playing. I just preferred my body panels a little higher off the ground ha ha. I did some serious trail wheeling though. These trucks are great off road stock, so anything to get some bigger tires under there is going to help.

No argument ha ha, 3 inch Bl and a t bar crank is as good a a 4 inch lift. but comparing a 3 inch bl to a 6 inch susp is like apples and oranges.

My point is that if you really wanna wheel a susp lift with more lift is ideal. but a 3 inch bl is still good for some wheeling from time to time. But like I said, these trucks wheel great as they sit so any type of ground clearance is going to help.

    Bl's suck! :jester:

It really comes down to preference. I don't like seeing so much frame, I like my tow hooks, receiver etc... Look fellas, a 6 inch lift will out do a 3 inch lift regardless of what type is all I'm sayin. I'd do a 3 inch bl or 4 inch suspension for occasional playing and mainly driving because you don't lose the function of a truck. 6 inch you have more susp play so it's better for jeep trails but you lose the practicality of a truck.

Preaching to brick walls :jester: never said a bl was bad, just wouldn't be my preference for wheeling.
