This truck is going to sell for basically nothing. So I was thinking of putting down $50-$100 for it and turning the bed into a trailer. Basically just cut the frame behind the cab, yank all the crap out from underneath (gas tank/evap/etc) wire up the taillights to my 4-pin, and repaint it Forest Green. What do you think?
I would do it to it. If you can get it for that price you may be able to get your money back by scrapping the rest and selling any parts that are still good.
its been done thousands of times before.. Should be pretty simple.. If you can get it for $100 the hell yeah go for it.. But honestly I dont see you gettin it for that price.. Hell a scrap yard would give 250 or more for it.. I wouldnt pay to have it painted either.. prime it and spray paint it with duplicolor forest green.. Just my .03 cent...
if he does get the trailer he's gonna have to get a 18 wheeler endorsement cause it's gonna be that long
bwhaha it would be sweetness I wasn't going to pay to have it done, I need some more body work experience and I figure a bed is easy enough to start on. And you fuggers realize my truck is only 6" longer than a screw/6.5 right?
yea, a bed is a good place to practice body work. simple lines, yet corners/curves to get your skill set up. just remember, time is your friend. and can someone PLEASE photoshop a 6.5' Bed bein towed by AK's truck... i gotta see what this would look like
