    looking to purchase some new ones. what do you guys think? 3 ton or a 6 ton stand set? what do yall think?

    3 ton would be sufficient, my truck weighs 5800 pounds.

    why would you need 6 ton? if you bought 4 of them you could hold up 24 tons! WTF do you have that would weigh that much?

    i like the part with the 6ton ones they can set up for the height of the frames on trucks vs the 3tons barely reach thats the only reason i use them

    yea i think mine weighs a little more since its a 7700 but then again a 3 ton jack can hold 6600 lbs and i dont plan on holding the entire truck up with these two stands. id only be supporting half the trucks weight. i guess no need for a 6 ton stand

    the stands im looking at have a 12" to 17 1/4" range
