    I have a similar problem with the same LMC part #7 courtesy light housing, 47-4247 (license lamp lens).
    Mine are made of a gray plastic and are either sun rotting or heat degrading split and cracked and do not stay tight in the F250 bumper hole.

    Just a thought, if led lamps were used instead of incandescent, the housing temp and bulb sockets would stay cooler.

    im putting some red leds in mine. thats why im trying to get this socket fixed.

    PI mine did the same thing so I replaced them and installed white LEDs.

    So chris needs 1 bulb socket
    Jarrett 2 license plate lamp sockets
    PI 2 license plate lamp sockets


    I'll be on the lookout....


    Anyone else need anything?

    for ****s n giggles check out the SD section and see if you find any tow mirrors. i would perfer them to be powered and have the turn in the mirror with the flat connector. shoot me a text what you find.
