Alright guys i know this is like the third thread Ive started about this, and most of my questions are answered, but i still have just a couple left, that i can finally ask. Alright as you guys know i have a 3.5'' spindle lift, 1.5'' coil spacer, and 3'' rear blocks. So i sit level and just a tad higher than stock fx4's. And i really want to go to 35's, and really the cheapest way is a body lift. This is my deal though, i know 2wds with body lifts have a tendency not to sit as high as a stock 4x4 with just a body lift. And we all know a stock 4x4 with just a body lift can clear 35's i guess somewhat easily. But since im sitting just a tad bit higher than a stock 4x4, would it come out as looking about the same as if i had a stock 4x4 with just a body lift?? Another words i like how stock 4x4's with body lifts look with 35's, because they have just the right wheel space and truck to tire height that i like. The reason i ask this, ive finally got some mullah coming my way, and i need a new exhaust(its rusting pretty bad) so i figured if i got a new exhaust and then put a body lift on it would look stupid hanging 3'' low with a duel exhaust. So i guess i figured i could kill 2 birds with one stone by putting a body lift on first, then getting the exhaust on because the shop could mount where it dosnt hang low. So any help on this very appreciated.
youll be fine if your sitting as high as a 4x4 now. if anything it might rub a little bit. ive got 315s on mine and i rub a small amount with torsion bars cranked about 1.5".
do this body lift first, check out my pics, i got my exaust done after the lift and im happy with taking that route, cause they will look goofy hangin 3' low
okay cool, i just wanted to make shure its not going to have a crammed look on it, like im just stuffing them under there. I like the body to sit off the tires a little bit.
yeah, you should have room with the body lift to fit the tires with all the suspension lift you have on now.
runnin 35's after your body lift should be no problem w/ your susp. I have just a leveling kit, w/ an AAL in the rear under my body lift and I'm runnin 35's no rubbin at all.
Alright cool, i figured i need about 2k for the tires, new shocks (I just need new ones bad) body lift, gap guards, a locker and i'll be rocken 315's here soon hopefully. Thanks for the help guys
