thats all that you need to hate a vehicle? guess you hate the ferrari 458 italia too? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/car...-wet-sand-and-detail-orange-peel-removal.html
Just a normal raptor with a new front bumper and wheels lol. I like the bed organizer if you would call it that.
Damn, that write up was crazy. That paint was soo perfect when he got done. But holy ****, 5k for a detail?!
I'm saying for the money it cost more care should be taken when putting the most obvious thing on the vehicle..THE PAINT. My aunt has an 01 beetle that has absolutely no orange peel on factory paint..it CAN be done efficiently and cost effectively. If you have to wet sand it then that means the clear coat is ****..if not it could've just been smoothed with a buffer using a few compounds and polishes. Its all in the lay of the primer, paint and clear.
ha ha this is true. but when you have almost 300 grand for a car....i guess you can do that. i cannot on the other hand ! luckily my truck was completley sanded down before the repaint so mines gone
Absolute best tutorials for DIY is junkman2000 on YouTube..his are the most thorough and user friendly
I agree with Adam on the orange peel. Its really disappointing to see orange peel on all the new vehicles these days. Especially when your payin $30 or more for it.
actually it also has 8" wide fenders and new suspension I assume they are after market because he mentioned it in the description but I don't know the specifics on the raptors. I like that he payed attention to the little details and painted most accents black and modded it tastefully and excuse my ignorance but what is orange peel?
