Installing a Saleen radiator, because I half to!

    i had always wondered what kind of gains i would see out of my 4.6 w/ this so i'm really interested if it makes a true difference or just keeps the engine running cooler. :waytogo:

    Why would you expect to see gains from nothing but a radiator swap?

    Unless you have mods creating more heat than the stock unit can keep up with, additional cooling capacity isn't going to help anything.

    Well what I have read about it says the most you will see is cooler a/c on hot azz days. One guy said hes truck was around 180 instead of 200 after the swap. It is better for our trucks to run at around 200 so I will leave my fan controllers at the same temp. I half to figure out a new way to mount the troyer fans. The current way they have a mount that goes over the top lip of the radiator. Well the new one has no lip on top, its smooth. So I will figure something out......

    just get some flat bar, and make a cross bar for it to mount on, seperate from the radiator, but utilizing the same mounting points?
